Update: Matt is now expanding his mind at Baylor Medical College in Houston, Texas. While he learns how to do all that cool stuff the doctors do on TV he still manages to keep up to date on developments in the rails world. We occasionally called him in as tech mercenary on various projects and he’s still our patron saint of ‘do it right’.

Matt Sanders has been developing and implementing user-centered software since 1994, designing both online collaborative technologies and application frameworks for the web. He has worked with a wide variety of businesses both in the United States and the European Union, including companies in the satellite imaging, music, tourism, architecture and electronics sectors.

He has contributed to several open source projects, and leads the Polycot Labs team in research and development. Matt has developed and maintained a PHP-based application framework widely used in Polycot’s projects since 2000, and is currently focused on Ruby on Rails and its development ecosystem.

Matt specializes in architecting precise solutions to clients needs, including modeling complex data, understanding and detailing business processes, and technical optimization. Aside from being an avid rock climber, Matt travels extensively and enjoys experimenting in the kitchen.
