The latest project from Polycot Labs is an update to the Specialized Riders Club, their bike enthusiast social network community. In this rev we’ve added blogs for members, on-site messaging, friends lists, video uploads and some cool profile enhancements.

The Riders Club has come a long way since we launched it with our development partner Active Ingredients last year. We’ve grown to more than fifteen thousand users and are seeing some really cool content come out of the community.

It’s always nice to be able to do a second phase on a project, you learn so much from the first rev about what the users are interested in, what will work for your members, and the tone of the community. It’s great when we can launch something that’s fairly limited in scope, and add features to it over time, seeing what works out well and what doesn’t.

We’re really excited about the Riders Club, and are looking forward to bringing the community even more cool stuff in the months to come.
